Alright, im 32 and i wanted to explore the idea of having a career in computers, programming and maybe even lerning to programme and make robots and construction machinery that we cna use from a remote.
So i wanted to sort or journal my progress in case some one else ou there is thinking the same way but like me has no idea where to begin to learn to code!
it is so frustrating if you know absolutey nothing about computers or writting code to figure out where to begin! my goddness gracious!
So i however over a period of maybe about 4 months of asking around and thinking and pondering have finally begun my new education. there are probably 100 different ways to begin to learn to code bu ti am only sharing my journey!
well the first thing i did was i contacted a coding school in my city and began toask them questions over email which i found on their site. i looked on the Brain station site.
i eventually got invited to a free introduction course on the topic of ‘product management’ which had to do with developing and creating new software or applications. it was interesting and i feel like i got an inside scoop into the tech world or at least into what a job in the computer or tech world might look like. if oyu can i would recommend going to any and all free intro classes on computer programming. even check your local public library!
the final result of tasking this step was a good one it helped me to think more about changing careers, it helped in invision myself doing a particular job in the computer world and i gained a good idea about a particular job and how it looks to work in an office type environment.
